Lauren Kane has been a Realtor with RE/MAX since 2007 and works for RE/MAX Shoreline in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She is licensed in both Maine and New Hampshire. Lauren entered into the real estate industry just in time for the market crash, and through this experience she has gained valuable skills and built relationships with both clients and business affiliates that will last a lifetime. She thrives on the new experience each day brings and for the momentum her business gains as the market and economy improve.

Lauren works with both Buyer and Seller clients. She pledges to be a good listener, and to be in constant communication with clients, keeping them informed throughout the entire buying or selling process. She believes success is measured by client satisfaction. Lauren relies on the power of the RE/MAX brand and tools available to her when marketing listings. She keeps a diverse portfolio of property types and price points in her inventory and is sure to find just the right property you are looking for. When it comes to Buyer clients, Lauren particularly enjoys working with first-time Buyers and people who are relocating to the Seacoast area. Whether a client has needs in Maine or New Hampshire, or anywhere in the world for that matter, she is able to refer them to a RE/MAX associate who can help. Lauren is an active member of the Seacoast Board of Realtors. She serves on the Association’s Public Relations Committee, Credentials Committee, various task forces when asked and was their 2012 President. In 2013, Lauren was named the Association’s “Realtor of the Year.” She’s been named to RE/MAX’S Executive Club in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

Lauren is Chair Emeritus for Catapult Seacoast, the area’s premier young professional network. She served as Chair in 2013 & 2014, and has been involved with the YPN since 2008. She helped lead the non-profit through a strategic re-organization in 2013. In 2014, Catapult launched the first annual “10 To Watch” contest, a collaborative project with The Portsmouth Herald’s Seacoastonline.com. The goal is to help community- minded young people grow both personally and professionally, thereby weaving the fabric of the Seacoast’s community and economy.

Lauren has a background in accounting and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2001. As an avid beach-goer and outdoor recreationalist, as well as a food and wine enthusiast, Lauren enjoys all the Seacoast has to offer with its natural beauty and idyllic location. When she has a chance to get away, she enjoys spending time at her home in Florida. Lauren lives in Dover, NH, the State’s oldest city, and the 7th settlement in the United States.
